How to Set Up Toniebox 2?

How do I set up Toniebox 2?

Before starting, Toniebox 2 needs to connect to your Wi-Fi. This process is quick and easy:

  1. To power it on, use the included USB-C cable to plug it in.
  2. Download the tonies® app and log in.
  3. To start setting up your Toniebox 2, tap "My" at the bottom right corner and then tap the "+" sign next to the Toniebox units.
     

You can unplug it after a few minutes and complete the setup. It will be ready to play in no time!

Important: The Toniebox 2, must be powered by a certified Class II power supply (marked with this symbol: [IEC 60417 symbol]) and 5 V DC (1–1.5 A) power supply
must be used . Using incompatible chargers can damage your Toniebox or accessories.

Pixel Phone users: The setup asks to share contacts and call history. Please ignore and leave it off. The setup will continue anyway.

Toniebox 2: Setup troubleshooting

If you experience any issues with your Toniebox 2 setup, we always recommend following the steps below before contacting us:

  • Step 1 - Wait a minute: We recommend waiting a few more minutes for the Toniebox 2 to resolve everything.
  • Step 2 - Restart: If waiting didn't help, your next step is to restart . You can think of this as turning the Toniebox 2 off and on again. Then try the setup process again.
  • Step 3 - Factory Reset: If you still can't connect, via the app we recommend performing a factory reset.

For in-app guidance on factory resetting (Make sure the tonies® app is updated to the latest version) :

Open the 1st tonies® app and log into your account.

2. Go to “My” and select your Toniebox 2.

3. Tap “Settings” (top right corner).

4. Scroll down and select “Factory reset instructions.”

After the process is complete, please go to your device's Bluetooth settings and make sure Toniebox 2 is removed before setting up again.

How can I restart Toniebox 2?

Although not often, if Toniebox 2 is not working as it should, the best way to get it working again is to restart it. Don't worry, it's very simple to do:

  1. Make sure Toniebox 2 is turned on and plugged in make sure it is not.
  2. With the Toniebox timer setting, pinch both ears until it enters sleep light.
  3. Keep pressing to restart. This process can take from 20 seconds up to 1 minute.
  4. You will know that Toniebox 2 has been reset when you see the Welcome Lights.
